Il Rughinello is
a charming 17th century villa. Located in the Umbrian hills
between the historical towns of Todi and Perugia, this delightful
country villa has been recently restored in its original style
with original materials. Peacefully set in a secluded garden,
Il Rughinello is surrounded by olive groves and sunflower fields
with views of the beautiful Italian countryside intermittently
scattered with medieval villages and castles nestled amongst
oak forests.
The interiors have been decorated with care to retain the style
and ambience of the period. The ceilings are tiled and suspended
with wooden beams and the floors are in terracotta. A splendid
lavender, rosemary and antique rose garden frames the immaculate
kept lawn surrounding the swimming pool , where one can enjoy
the sight of the setting sun.
Il Rughinello's olive grove, which can be seen from the villa,
is responsible for a good production of extra virgin olive oil
