"L'Oliveto" lies 3 km beyond Trevi
and the views are truly magnificent, sweeping over the Vale
of Spoleto. The house is set in its own grove of 300 olive trees,
one of the myriad olive groves which greenly clad the hills
around Trevi. The owners of this unassuming house produce not
only a first class, wonderfully fruity cold pressed olive oil,
but also a good white wine, crisp and dry , and just the thing
to enjoy with the view. The house is well supplied with both
wine and oil -- just help yourself and leave the cash. The accommodation
is simple , attractive and entirely comfortable. An open fireplace
in the sitting room and a big squashy sofa contribute to the
air of comfy , rustic simplicity. The modern kitchen , with
ample dining area, is well equipped and has a full-size refrigerator-freezer
and electric oven with 5 gas burners. The bathrooms are fresh
and modern. Both bedrooms are large and, as the beds are all
