La bella Imperia
was a nobleman who, in the 16° cenrury lived in one of San
Venanzo's castles. After her lover's murderer. She left almost
all her properties to the Francescani Friars of Assisi. The
country house lies heart of Umbria a quiet site surrounded by
gentle hills. The central building at "La Bella Imperia"is
a late nineteenth century stone farmhouse. This attractive country
residence offers to its guests an outdoor children's playground
and outdoor swimming-pool for their own use. There are seven
double rooms, all equipped with colour television, telephone,
bathroom, individual heating control and a small terrace. One
of the suites is fitted with disabled facilities and two of
them are furnished with antiques. Breakfast, meals and drinks
are served in the farmhouse building or outside in the veranda.
The region offers to its visitors opportunies for delightful
walks, mountain bike rides or excursions to appreciate the nearby
towns of art, such as Todi, Orvieto, Spoleto,Perugia, Assisi,
