Campodalto is a pretty
little stone and brick cottage set among olive groves in an
enchanting position in the hills outside Paciano. From this
private and peaceful location, lovely views stretch over the
valley across to Lake Trasimeno.
The property is nicely restored, furnished and decorated in
traditional country style, and retains the best of its old features,
exposed stone, worn terracotta floors and old beams.
The owner, who lives in Naples, often visits at weekends, but
otherwise guests will have the property to themselves, and are
welcome to help themselves to garden produce when available.
Just a short distance to the little village of Paciano, with
its restaurants and shops, from here it is easy to visit a myriad
of intriguing towns and villages. Perugia, Assisi, Spoleto and
Cortona are just a few places easily reached, while only a little
further afield are Siena, Arezzo, Florence and Rome.
