Borgo Solario is
located next to Sanfatucchio, which was an ancient custom post
of the Papal State. This ancient country house has been restored,
respecting Umbrian traditions, into a number of apartments.
The house is situated on a hilltop just a few kilometres from
Castiglione del Lago and the shores of Lake Trasimeno.
Borgo Solario offers its guests finely furnished apartments
with chestnut beams on the ceiling and terracotta floors. Every
apartment is made up of one double bedroom, living room with
kitchenette and sofa bed for two people, bathroom with shower.
Close to Borgo Solario there are restaurants, supermarkets,
cinema, shopping centres, chemist's shop and everything that
could be helpful in order to spend a pleasant stay. The house
has a large garden where guests can relax in and just a few
kilometres away there are famous thermal spas like Chianciano
Terme, Montepulciano and San Casciano de Bagni. Spending you
holidays in Borgo Solario is also an opportunity to visit the
most beautiful art towns of central Italy. Some of them are
Perugia, Siena, Assisi, Cortona, Città della Pieve, Orvieto,
Pienza e Montepulciano. The centres of Rome and Florence are
