| The
Antico Casale (old cottage) of Monte Gualandro dates back to
1700. The building is surrounded by a 100,000 square meter large
park, planted with olive trees, with a magnificent view on Lake
Trasimeno and the Chiana Valley. The park has a 14 x 7 m large
swimming-pool with a magnificent view on the lake, as well as
a sun-terrace and a barbecue. The cottage is divided into 14
apartments, each made up of a double room, a living room with
kitchenette and double divan-bed, a bathroom. All the apartments
have a communicating door and can be combined so as to have
either 4-bed- or 8-bed-apartments. Furnishings are elegant and
refined, with embroidered fabrics, wrought iron tester-beds,
Persian carpets; all the apartments are equipped with safe,
TV-SAT, telephone, Internet connection, ceiling fans. Some apartments
